Baby Cole update

Friday Baby Cole was doing so good there was talk of him getting to come home this weekend.  But Saturday he started power puking & power pooping, all of his levels that had been back to normal went sky high again & they had to put in a new IV to rehydrate him again.  Monday they are going to take him to surgery to put in a central line.  Efurryone is so upset & wishing they would figure out what's causing all this & fix it already!!

Mama wants to go down & be with him & his mama, but she can't drive in St. Louis...she does good to drive around here.  Auntie Lori's fiance` is mad at Mama for pointing out that he was being a jerk to Auntie Lori, so she can't ride down with them.

Anyway, if you could keep the purrs, grrs & purrayers going, we would really appreciate it...maybe send a few to Mama so she doesn't go completely crazy with worry.  Thanks efurrybody.

Sammy's Gotcha Day & update on Baby Cole

Mama's too tired to hunt for a picture, but we want to wish Sammy a Happy 9th Gotcha Day!!  Mama can still remember seeing him in the cage with his brother at the animal shelter...she poked her finger in to pet his brother & Sammy promptly pushed him out of the way so HE could get to Mama!  Mama said he chose her, so he came home with her & "Daddy".

Baby Cole is doing much better thanks to all the purrs, grrrs, purrayers & prayers!  He still has a ways to go, but he's getting better & that's what counts.  Two attempts this week to put in the picc line were unsuccessful & Mama's not sure what the baby v-e-ts are gonna do about that.  We'll let you know when we find out more.

Thanks again for your concern & your comforting words.  They mean more than we can ever say.

Update on Baby Cole

First off, we would like to thank efurryone for their purrs, grrrs & prayers!  It really means so much to all of us.  Thank you also for the badge, it's sooo precious!

Now, on to the update.  Baby Cole is out of picu for now.  The doctors say it's still day to day, but things are a little better.  He has to have a picc line implanted in his little arm for the high power antibiotics he'll be taking for the next 10-14 days.  They are going to do an ultrasound on his kidneys to check for any abnormalities.  When he was admitted to St. Louis Children's hospital they found he had a severe UTI & e-coli.  Not sure what other problems he may have.  We are just praying that the antibiotics take care of everything.

Purrs & purrayers needed!!

Guess we don't get to be happy for long :-(
Our little Cole was airlifted to St. Louis Children's Hospital a few hours ago.  They're not sure what's wrong with him but he is in very critical condition.  Please send purrs & purrayers for our little blurp, he needs all he can get.  And if you can spare a few more, his mama & grandma could use some too.

A happy post for a change...

Yesterday at 11:19 am, Mama got a new great-nephew: Cole Alexander!!  He's our Auntie Lori's first grandchild.  Mama's gonna go check him out this morning but we told her NOT to bring him home!  He's pretty cute, but we don't need anything like that here...

We are so furry sad to hear that another furiend has gone to the Rainbow Bridge.

Whitey, you are truly loved & you will be truly missed.  Rest In Peace dear furiend.

Two years ago today, I helped my precious Joey go over the Rainbow Bridge.  It as the hardest thing I've ever had to do.  He was only with us for 2 months but there's not a day goes by that I don't think of him.
Mama loves you baby, please watch over us.

Moody Monday

Once again, Mama has taken FUREVER to help us blog!!  We have been furry busy purring & purraying for all of our sick furiends.  Plus we've been havin to take care of Mama for the last week...she's been barkin like a seal (that's what she calls it anyway).  At first she scared us right off her lap when she started makin that horrible noise!  Now we pretty much stay put unless she has to run to the litterbox room, somethin about not bein able to hold her water when she coughs.  You guys know how weird beans are.
We're hopin she'll start doin better on the bloggie, but you know how that goes...she always says she will but it doesn't happen.  Guess we can always hope.

Happy Birthday Sammy!

Happy 9th Birthday to our Sammy!!  See how bad Mama's been slacking?  This is the latest picture she could find of him...oh well, at least she remembered his birthday.

Happy Veterans Day!

We also want to thank our furiends for the purrs, purrayers & well wishes for our Auntie Pam.  Her surgery went furry well & the bean v-e-t said she was doing fine.  He got all of the tumor out, for which we are all thankful.  She was still sleeping when Mama & Auntie Lori had to leave, but we are purraying for a quick healing.  Thank you all again, it means the world to all of us.

Purrs & Purrayers needed!!

We know we haven't been blogging or commenting much lately & maybe we've lost a few furiends because of it (which we hate), but Mama has been struggling.  She says it's too hard to pretend efurrything's ok.
We really need purrs, grrs, purrayers, tail wags & prayers for our Auntie Pam.  She has been fighting one cancer after another for the last 25 years & she's kept beating it.  But, cancer has reared it's ugly head again & Auntie Pam has to have a cancerous tumor removed from her tummy.  It's going to be tricky for the bean v-e-t to remove because she has had several abdominal surgeries & the last one they had to work hard to "piece" her back together.
Mama & Auntie Lori are going to St. Louis with Auntie Pam today so they can be with her for her surgery on Thursday.  So, if all our furiends that we have left could send up purrs & purrayers & maybe get your beans to say prayers for Auntie Pam, we would appreciate it greatly.
