Mama has a 4 day weekend & do you think she's spending it with us? No, she has "things to do". What are we, chopped liver?? There are "things" she could "do" here like give us scritches, Temptations, Catnip treats & Party Mix! Why can't she "do" that?!?
Actually she did stay home with us today & all 3 of us had our lap time with her. But, she's leaving in the morning & she won't be home until Sat. afternoon, then she's going to a concert Sat. night. She's finishing up her "birthday" gifts from her friend Lisa & Auntie Lori. Tomorrow night they are going to a Ladies Luau (whatever that is) & stay in a hotel, then they are going to see Emerson Drive on Sat. night. Mama's pretty excited about going & we are happy for her, but still!! Maybe she'll hide treats around the house for us before she leaves.......that would be fun. Hint Hint, Mama!!!

Our Mom hides treats for us a lot, sometimes without meaning too - lol. We are sorry your mama is leaving you. We hope you survive without her for a couple of days.

We don't like it either when Mom leaves us! Thanks for the tip about hiding treats. Maybe she will do that for us!
I'm glad you had an extra day with your mom. My mom was home with me today, but she stayed in bed sleeping all day!
