Joey

Joey wasn't any better at all yesterday, so last night I called an emergency vet clinic & talked to a vet there. She told me to start syringe feeding him chicken baby food & pedialyte. My sister went to the store & got some, then drove a half hour to bring them to me so I wouldn't have to leave Joey.

I've been feeding him about every 4 hours & he seems to being doing some better. He is still very weak, but he is starting to fight me during his feedings so I take that as a good sign. He even came in & got in bed with me this morning, he rarely did that before he got sick. He even ventured into the kitchen awhile ago, so he must be getting a little strength back.
I have to go babysit for 3 or 4 hours tonight & I hate to leave him, but I need the money.

Thank you all for your purrs, purrayers & prayers. Hopefully he will get well & not leave me. He's only been here for about 2 1/2 months, but I can't imagine my life without him.

Hopefully Joey keeps gaining strength. We're worried about him. But it sounds like there are some good signs.

We're glad that he seems to be feeling a bit better but we're going to keep lots of purrs and purrayers coming to help him get completely better.
