Mama's had the blahs so we haven't been around much.  Between the loss of so many of our furiends lately & the major hots we've been having, we can't get her to do much.  So please don't give up on us & maybe we can get Mama to start helping us blog more...

RIP Jack

Our furiend Jack was helped to the Bridge Monday.  Another sad day for the CB.

 Our eyes are leaking as we have lost 2 of our good furiends in the last 2 days. 
Annie & Whicky, you will be missed.  We are sending much love to your beans.  RIP precious furiends.

Mama is in BIG trouble!!

Mama actually forgot it was Fes' birthday!!  If she hadn't read it on the Cat Blogosphere bloggie, there probably wouldn't be a new post.  We are seriously thinking of telling her she's fired & looking for a new Mama.  One that remembers important dates!!

Anyway, Fes is 7 years old today & we are having a MAJOR house trashing party!!  So, come one, come all & lets teach our worthless mama a lesson!!

Our furiend has gone to the Bridge.....

Our furiend Toby was helped to the Bridge yesterday morning.  The v-e-t said that he most likely had bladder cancer.  Mama was furry sad when she got to work & found out.  She couldn't get leaky eyed though cause the little sticky beans don't know yet that Toby's not coming back.
Mama's really gonna miss him because other than the Mom & Dad bean, she was the only one Toby let pet him.  He was not a furry social cat.
We know he's in a better place & not in pain anymore.  That's what's most important.

Take-It-Back Tuesday

Mama's reporting of Toby's journey to the Bridge was a bit premature. Seems that Toby changed his mind about going & started eating & drinking! He's still got a ways to go...he lost LOTS of weight & he is almost 16, but he seems to be feeling much better.

We're sorry that we made efurrybuddy sad & we thank you so much for your loving thoughts. But hey! It's good news that Toby is still with us!!

Sad Friday...

Our dear furiend Toby is going to be helped to the Bridge today. He told his beans that it was time to let him go. Mama got to see him yesterday for a bit & told him goodbye. He will be furry missed.

Thank you furiends for the purrs & good wishes for Toby. Sometime, when Mama isn't so leaky-eyed, we'll have her tell you more about him.

Toby, we are sending you on your journey with many purrs & much love. Peaceful travels dear furiend, until we meet again.

Purrs needed....

The beans that Mama work for are owned by a kitty named Toby. He has been furry sick & they are afraid that he may have to be helped to the Bridge. So, if you could send purrs, purrayers, tail wags or what efur we would appreciate it. Most likely Toby's beans will be taking him to a "real" v-e-t today. Our v-e-t is nice but he's pretty much just a country v-e-t & mostly works on livestock. His office doesn't have a lab or equipment to really test for problems. So, again, all purrs will be appreciated.

Happy 5th Gotcha Day Emma!!!

Most beans do "before & after" pics....Mama does "after & before" pics. *sigh*

Anyway, Emma's been with us for 5 years...time flies by pretty fast. We still remember when Mama brought little Emma home, she looked like a bite-sized snack! She hated Fes on sight & still isn't very fond of him. If he gets too close to her, she still growls & hisses at him! She & I (Sammy) get along OK, although she's gotten pretty fiesty with me lately.

What with Mama being sick she didn't feel like planning a party, but she's goin back to work today sooo, efurrybuddy can come on over & party while Mama's gone. She bought a big bag of food & we have plenty of temp-tay-shons so we shouldn't go hungry! What Mama don't know won't hurt us, right??

Update on Mama: she had her eye v-e-t visit today & no vision loss!! Although the shingles still have to run their course, the eye v-e-t said it is unlikely to affect Mama's eye if it hasn't by now. Thank you so much for your purrs, tail wags & good thoughts!!

Shingles suck & a very special day.....

Mama is sooo ready for the shingles to be gone! She's been pretty sick with them so we haven't been able to check on our furiends (*sigh*). She goes to her eye v-e-t on Tuesday to make sure her vision wasn't affected, so if you could send up a couple more purrs....

Now, for the best part of this post...it's Auntie ML's birthday!!! We want to wish her the Happiest Birthday ever!! We love you Auntie ML!!

Purrs for Mama please

Mama has the dreaded shingles, she says they belong on houses NOT beans!! She's pretty miserable but the big worry is that they might spread to her eye. So we wanna ask for purrs, purrayers & tail wags for her.
Mama's vision isn't the greatest anyway & her "good" eye is the one being threatened. So, if efurrybuddy could spare a thought or two for her, we would appreciate it.
